Year 1 Space Topic 2009 Year 1 have been extremely busy finding out all about space. During the term, the children learnt about the first moon landing and space travel. After completing some drama activities, they wrote their own descriptive moon landing stories and newspaper articles about their trip to Mars! Our role play corner was made into a space rocket- the children loved dressing up as astronauts and recorded their space discoveries in our log book. They also enjoyed making clay aliens in art. Year 1 ended their fun filled topic with a space themed family assembly! | ||
